Twitter reveals top nine retweeted tweets of 2017.  Though ex-president Obama of USA is on the list, unfortunately, current president Trump is could not make any place. Few new additions are there.

#1 Carter Wilkerson – The Chicken nuggets guy

Carter Wilkerson, who tried his best to get Windy’s chicken nuggets for a year, though he could not reach the require retweet of 18 Million. But he reaches on top of the list with 3.6 Million Retweets.

#2 Obama on Charlottesville response

Obama’s response to Charlottesville, quoting Nelson Mandela and featuring a picture of Obama with a diverse group of children — hit 1.7 million retweets. Earlier this year, it broke the record for most liked tweet ever, with 4.5 million likes.

#3 Houston Relief Tweet

Penn Nation IFC pledged to donate to hurricane Harvey Houston remedy efforts for each retweet, offering $0.15 for each share or retweet received. It acquired 1.5 Million retweets, however, they capped their donation at $10,000 or 67,000 retweets.

#4 Ariana Grande’s after Manchester bombing

After the tragic Manchester Bombing at her, May 22 concert in England received 1.1 million retweets. 22 victims died in the bombing.

#5 Obama thank you

Obama’s last tweets as President, thanking his supporters and telling them to always believe in their power to create change, garnered over 871,000 retweets and nearly 1.8 million more likes.

#6 Linkin Park

Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington died on July 20 — and the band’s simple memorial of a photo of Bennington in concert on the day of his death received 787,000 retweets.

#7 ” U BUM” Tweet of LeBron James

Lebron James’ now iconic “U bum” tweet loudly subtweeting President Trump over 660000 retweets this year. The Sept. 23 tweet backed up fellow basketball player Steph Curry’s decision to not attend the White House following the Golden State Warriors’ NBA championship.

#8 Obama Farewell Tweet

The first of President Obama’s last string of tweets, citing what an honor it was to serve on his last day in office, received over 630,000 retweets and over 1.6 million likes.


#9 Houston dog food donation

Sam Martin of the Detroit Lions sits with his dog as he promises to donate 6 pounds of dog food for every retweet to Houston in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. In the end, Martin received over 623,000 retweets and donated a total of $10,000 worth of dog food.
